International Conference: Disruptive Technologies and the Public Service (Singapore, 28-29 September 2017)

Together with its partners, the UNDP Global Centre for Public Service Excellence (GCPSE), Singapore, and the Technopreneurship Centre at Nanyang Technological University (NTC), Singapore, CEPA convened 120 public and private sector leaders to discuss the challenges and opportunities of emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, mobile technologies and blockchain.

Expert practitioners from academia, the public and private sectors provided thought leadership on how technology could enable Governments achieve the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, underpinning the legitimacy of the public service as a trusted steward of development. The conference was sponsored by Boston Consulting Group (BCG), NEC and Horizon State whose technology experts also actively participated in our sessions and panel discussions.
